Granny Collection Update..

It's been a while since I posted a blog on any of my Grannies..
I still am very busy with my Grannies.
Jenny...She is in the OLV Independent Living Apts. She is great..She loves to help me do the things I was hired to do..then off I go to put in her wash and then get her in her "Spa Like Bubble Bath" After wards we make her lunch and we visit for a while. Lately her friends have been "Accosting" me in the elevator..they want to know what I do for Jenny... so far Collette hired me to "Spring Clean" her place...pay was great and I got a big tip!!! Nice!! Then another woman inquired about me in the main office... so they took my number to hand out...I need to make cards..."Granny Nanny" for hire!!! I could slide them under all the apt. doors!! While I'm there maybe I'll get on the list for a place..I'll be needing it in the near future!!! Wonder if I'll have to give Jenny a finders fee?

Then I still "Sleep over" with Marge. She is really slowing down tho. She is just so content to just stay in bed all the time now. The day time girls do try to get her up a little each day but by afternoon she is so limp no one can maneuver her so they are finding it better to let her stay in bed and entertain her in her room. Once in a while I get to be there during her waking hours but I mostly get there after she is asleep. Lucky me! Since the weather got better they opened this old window in her room way up high over her bed...and now no one can get it closed..so at night when it gets chilly we turn up her electric blanket to keep her warm and come morning we just wipe the frost off her nose and start the day!!!! Kidding!!!! fortunately it hasn't been too cold and hopefully when her son gets home from vacation he will get the window fixed!!!
Then there is Ray and Helen...sweet old couple...oh they just sit by the door 3 days a week waiting for me to show up. They get so excited always asking what we have planned for the days excitement!! But my time is short there and after I get a nice gourmet breakfast made and medicines dished out, everything cleaned up and a few chores done my time is up...I really need to be there a little longer..but for now I'm only scheduled for 2 hrs on my days. Wednesday is "Shower day" and that takes me the whole time to fight off Old Grandpa's advances!!!! Too Funny!!!! I told him I was gonna stop his viagra pill if he doesn't chill out!!!!!
Lastly there was my other Marge....Sweet woman..I was there just Thursday afternoon for a while.. got her pills ready for the week and did a few chores and chatted. after my first two weeks she took to her bed and slowly faded away..I was spending allot of time with her just visiting and feeding her ice chips and keeping her comfortable..and by Monday Morning May 3rd she was gone. This is the hardest part of my job!

Well I am always on the look out for more Grannies....I love my job!!!!
