Grabbed me up a sweet old Grandpa to care for. Ray.. and his wife Helen. both in the 80's Helen needs a little help with Ray and a few reminders of her own.. Sweetest couple. They were referred to me from the co-worker of the Daughter of my last Granny... Gotta love that word of mouth. Ray is a sweet elderly gentleman who loves hugs!!!! and he is so compliant ....and easy going...one of my new jobs is to help him shave....lolol don't think I've done that before...I think I need some practice...can't practice at home ..Steve has a full beard!!! any volunteers???? I think I can manage that and everything else...we'll see.... getting a pretty busy schedule... but 2 Grannies are overnites and I can sleep and the others are mid day! Finding that most elderly are not a fan of getting up early! I guess all these years I've be practicing for MY old age!! I am taking note on how to be an dependant old person...got some good tips so far....oh my poor kids.......lololo
I do find most elderly have the same routine and basic needs... sleep late do things at their own pace...love sweets and snacks watch a lot of TV and Movies... and just like to hang out!!! I truly love my job!
