A Day To Remember
For a short moment in time I had me a new granny. Norma Martin. A very sweet elderly lady. She was Steve's friends grandma. Got a chance to be with her twice and then she was gone. I went the first Saturday to meet with her to see if she approved of me. I guess she was not fond of everyone! I passed the test and was invited back. Went 2 Saturdays later. Saturday was her pampering day or Spa day as her daughter refered to it. Karen her daughter did most of her spa tratments before I arrived. I got to just enjoy her company for a while. We did her nails and then had tea with milk and honey..her favorite. We chatted and watched old movies and sitcoms for the afternoon. She was such a sweet lady, a real pleasure to care for. I had a third date set up with her but unfortunatly she passed away in her sleep eairly that morning. She was so fortunate to have God take her while she was sleeping. That is the way to go. I'm sure she will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her and I am sorry our time together wasen't longer. It was nice to meet you Norma..maybe we'll meet again on the other side.
