Had to Babysit Ruth on Monday for Cheri. Mondays are always fun..that is cleaning day and because it is cleaning day Ruth thinks she is there to clean! She was a cleaning lady for some woman named Norma years ago..many many years ago! So she sits in her chair and asks me.."What are we gonna do today" I tell her we're gonna just sit and relax and watch TV while I do the cleaning. "Oh" she says "I'll start with the floor I will scrub it" "Oh I can do it" I tell her.."you just sit and enjoy your tea" And I proceed to clean. She tells me she is only going to be working here for 5 more years then she is going to get married, but first she has to get rid of Freddie! "Who's Freddie?" I ask "Oh he's my boyfriend, he gave me boots and an umbrella for Christmas". Nice is that why you want to get rid of him? She laughed and said "No" Then tells me when I am 13 years older than this year I can get married too...I tell her.."No thanks, I did that once! And Once is enough" And besides I'd have to get rid of Freddie too! Maybe I can trade him for BOOTS and an UMBRELLA! Something useful!!! Just kidding....Then she tells me I look tired and asks if the baby is still sleeping. I am tired I tell her I hadn't planned on getting up this early to come babysit..I just went to bed 3 hours ago! and good thing the baby is still sleeping (What baby?) cause as soon as granny nods off and she will..I'm gonna too!
Screw this cleaning crap...I think that's why Cheri called off anyway..she didn't want to clean either! so screw that I'll leave it..Cheri comes back tomorrow nite..it can wait for her.. I'll just whip thru and make it look like I cleaned!!! Gotta go nap now!
