Ruth was so confused tonite. First I thought she was with it. She was telling me Jim and Joanne should just get a divorce. Seems she thinks Jim has a girlfriend but its ok cause Joanne is just as bad! I guess John's girlfriend went downtown with Jim last nite..now remember John has been dead since 04 and he was in his eighties and I am assuming his girlfriend was no spring chicken!!! Well apparently now his son-in-law Jim is dating the girl! Nice! Jim is in his 50's Maybe he likes older women!!! Some guys do, so I'm told! Apparently John (Who is dead) may commit suicide cause Jim is dating his girl! Why would Jim do that to his father-in-law Ruth wondered!
She thinks we should go downtown and try to find them they are probably in the bar all drunk! So she wanted her shoes and her comb to get ready to go out. I told her we didn't have a car and we would have to wait for Joanne to come home and then she could take her. Mind you she is talking about downtown Hornell! I ain't driving there tonite its snowing out and looks awful shitty out! Finally she fell asleep in her chair. At 8:30 I gave her her sleeping pill and shuffled her off to bed! sweet Dreams ole Ruthie!!!!!
