I told you I don't remember!!!!

Dottie was in rare form today. Seems she took a tumble and hit her head. She can't remember when she did it she told me the fall effected her memory...Ya it made her forget she has dementia with memory loss..So maybe that's a good thing!
Anyway because she was an acrobat when she was younger every time she falls I remind her of her old abilities and ask her why she didn't recoup with a cartwheel and a few flips and up back on her feet..in one fluid motion! I'm sure she could do it! I think her background is what helps to prevent hip fractures when she falls!!! Lucky her! She laughs..it must stir up some old memories...I think that is so cool she was a professional acrobat...kind of like "Circus People" LOLOLOL So we proceeded to go get her lunch tray and she again told me she fell. I asked "Did you fall today?" "I don't know" she replied "I told you I don't remember".."If you don't remember how did you remember you told me already that you don't remember"..I asked her? She laughed again and said "I don't know because I don't remember!" So we sat for lunch and her nurse came in to check on us and I asked her when Dottie fell...she didn't know anything about it and asked Dottie.."Dottie did you fall today?" Dottie replied "I don't know, ask her(pointing to me) she knows because I told her because I don't remember!" By this time Dottie was all worn out from trying to Not remember when she fell! I got her to eat some lunch but she seemed bored with it..drank all her Boost Milk shake tho! and ate her cookies! After lunch we cleaned her room...What the heck!.. its the worst I have seen it since she's been there. 3 pairs of pj's strewn about..the sheets and blankets in a heap...socks and slippers all over the floor! And now she has a new roommate(Seems Henrietta moved on to a bigger and better place..if ya catch my drift!) So now her roommates dirty laundry basket is under the vanity on Dotties side..oh yuck!!!!! And she was kind of encroaching on Dotties space with her big furniture! So while she was at lunch I did some rearranging myself! There ya go Dottie..much better! Reminds me of sharing a room with a sister when you are young! better go get the masking tape and mark her territory!!! Ya that's a project for my next visit. By this time Dottie needed her nap..so she laid in her freshly made bed and we chatted a while and she dozed of..(My favorite pasttime!)
